A surreal winter scene with a visual depth which leads the viewer to explore the snowy hills behind the tussocky foreground. Foreground is predominantly French and Colonial knots stitched on organza ribbon with straight stitches depicting the tussock. Hills behind are straight stitches with French knot embellishments. The painted sky is moody and cold, accompanied by a modern profile Rimu frame
to bring warmth to the piece.
